Cherry Hills Village is an incorporated municipality. The “Village” allows only three types of building. Homes on a minimum of one-half acre, schools, and churches. Cherry Hills Village is immediately adjacent to the south boundary of Denver and in Arapahoe County. It is a convenient commute to both downtown Denver and the DTC. Many physicians call this home because of proximity many of the medical centers.
The Cherry Creek schools serving Cherry Hills Village are some of the best in one of the best districts. Private schools include Kent Denver, Saint Mary’s Academy and Beacon Country Day.
There is no shopping within the Village, but all services are close by. The Cherry Creek Mall, Park Meadows Mall and neighborhood centers are convenient.
Homes are all in the luxury category. Prices in “Old” Cherry Hills begin at $700,000, the approximate land value. A few homes are available at $500,000 in other parts of the Village and homes have sold for $10,000,000, but the primary range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Neighborhoods include The Preserve, Glenmoor, Cherry Hills Farms, Cherryridge, Charlou, Cherry Hills North, Southmoor Vista, Cherrymoor, and several others. The Cherry Hills Country Club, Glenmoor Country Club and The Village Club (equestrian, pool, tennis) are within the borders.
