Greenwood Village was once a primarily rural community, but now has developed into a dynamic blend of urban and rural areas, which include nationally recognized business parks and thirty select neighborhood associations. The residential population is approximately 16,000 with a “daytime” population adding over 75,000 people due to the large number of businesses in Greenwood Village.
Greenwood Village, Colorado is situated in Arapahoe County, directly south of Denver and Cherry Hills Village, encompassing 7.75 square miles. The Village was incorporated as a town in 1950 and received its home rule charter in 1968.
Most of the homes are well above the median price for the metro area. A number of custom and semi-custom home communities are here and the area is generally considered to be very desirable due to the convenient location, quality of neighborhoods, excellent schools and convenient shopping.
